These Vegan Vanilla Lattes can be made with 10 different types of vegan milk (and I have outlined them above). This way you can use your favorite plant based milk to make a quick, low calorie, and low cost latte at home!Special Tip: If the foam is not important to you, you can skip the whisking and just warm the milk.
1cupvegan milk of your choicesee above for 10 options
½teaspoonvanilla extract
2teaspoonssugarsugar in the raw, or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
To a small sauce pan add the milk, and sugar. Heat over medium low heat.
Once warmed, add in the vanilla extract, and whisk briskly and constantly to create foam.
Remove from heat, pour over the top of your prepared coffee and serve.
Iced Latte Modification: If you want to make this an iced latte, mix the sugar in with the coffee while it's still hot (so it dissolves). To a tall glass filled with ice add the coffee, milk of your choice and vanilla extract. Mix well and serve cold.
