Ingredients in Vegan Green Smoothies

It is important to get frozen pineapple. It keeps the smoothie cold and thickens it up too. But if you have a fresh pineapple you can also just freeze chunks before making the smoothie, or simply add 1 cup of ice and use fresh pineapple.

How to Make a Vegan Smoothie Recipe

The key to making smoothies an everyday meal, is cleaning up after. I know this sounds weird, but if you let the ingredients sit in the blender, cleaning it will be a nightmare… and you won’t want to make one tomorrow!

So rinse out the blender as soon as you pour your smoothie. You don’t have to scrub it, just rinse it, I promise it makes all the difference!

These green vegan smoothies taste like a Pina colada, but they are full of good for you ingredients!
I have included a section on swaps and add-ins, plus a toppings guide… because smoothie bowls shouldn't get to have all the fun!
Special Tip: If you want to thin out your smoothie without adding more calories, just add water! It won't change the flavor and it will count towards your daily water goals.
