How to Make Roasted Sweet Potato Wedges

I love parchment paper. Not only does it make clean up extra easy, it also ensures that the sweet potato fries don’t stick.

If you don’t have, or don’t want to use the parchment paper that’s ok. Just be sure to oil the baking sheets so the wedges don’t stick.

How to Roast Sweet Potato Wedges:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the sweet potatoes down the middle, lengthwise. Then cut each of those halves into 8 slices. (This will get you 16 slices per sweet potato.)
  3. Spray with olive oil and add to a large bowl.
  4. Add the seasoning of your choice, and toss together until the sweet potato wedges are all coated in spices.
  5. Move the sweet potato wedges to the prepared baking sheets, and spray again lightly with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, flip and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cooked through and browned on the edges.
  7. OPTIONAL: If they are soft in the center but not browned enough for you, broil for 2-3 minutes- but watch closely so they don’t burn.
  8. Remove from the oven and serve hot.
